We're turning one!

It was just one year ago we launched BASE: a young person's group that was all about creativity, enthusiasm and building a network of like-minded individuals. Something cool and fun, yet still with meaning. It was just one year ago we started playing – with a purpose.

What better way to celebrate a year of BASE than a super-fun, super-casual outdoor celebration…with lawn games, cake and dozens of potential new friends!

So Excited for the BASEiversary!

I just got the email announcing the BASE one-year celebration, so I went immediately to the website to check out what's what. I LOVE the photo of the "BASE Cake" (though I have no idea who baked it and/or got a cake to look that way), and am so looking forward to the event! I think this will be a great way to play outside (after our terrible winter we deserve it) and to connect with old friends and to meet some new friends. After our super-successful launch of one year ago, it will also be a good time to reflect on where we've been, where we're going, and to draw some interested people into the fold.


So Happy Birthday, BASE! I look forward to seeing you all on May 28th :)

For those of you that are reading our blog for the first time…welcome! If you haven’t made it to a BASE function or are just curious as to what we are all about, this is a good starting place. BASE folks of all stripes post from time-to-time about whatever is on their mind.
